I wanted to pop in to say hello since I've been tied up with work and absent the last couple of days, to wish you a wonderful and relaxing August weekend. Yesterday was our Fall '12 Handbag photo shoot with beautiful Katie who is always so fun to photograph. Above is an out-take of this gorgeous creature with one of our new Fall bags; they'll be on our website very soon!
After wrapping up the shoot, I met up with Sergé, one of my oldest and dearest friends who was in town with his wife Fatima and their two little girls.
Of course I couldn't resist giving the girls the latest Micro Dainty bracelets with Double Anchors {so that they can always stay anchored together} that my friend Phyllis made up in tiny kid sizes for me. It was all too adorable plus I finally got to find out who the hot guy from Yo Gabba Gaba is--sorry you have to watch Sh*t Fashion Girls Say to get this. I also found out that I wear Powerpuff Girl shoes (otherwise known as platforms) -Yay!

* BLOW, THE NEW YORK DRY BAR blew me away
The original is in Manhattan's Meatpacking district, but I went to the new Blow at Nordstrom in Fashion Island. Loved their sweet service {not always the case at your average blow bar}. For super nice, friendly service and a great blow out that will only set you back $30, check out Blow, the New York Dry Bar. P.S. I'm a huge fan of their Perfect Shower Cap, it keeps every blown lock safe and dry when you shower.
* CAFFEINE ADDICTION, the perfect Fall neutral colors
I finally wrenched myself away from the Laguna Libertine Trio long enough to have my nails painted with Coffee Addiction, the middle coffee-colored neutral from our new Mary Jo Matsumoto 4FREE Caffeine Addiction Nail Color trio. I think it's going to be my every day color for Fall.
* OLYMPIC FASHION FEVER
Loving all the wild 70s reminiscent shoes that cropped up with the summer Olympics. I would've scooped these cool Y3 kicks but they didn't fit me. Have you come down with Olympic fashion fever this summer?
* WOMEN IN YELLOW DRESSES
