My dear friend Ron Keyson passed away this morning from the rarest form of cancer. Crazy original, dark, hilarious, brilliant, generous, with more style than a whole country.
Ron, I hope you are someplace as bright and beautiful as a Malibu afternoon.

I loved Ron like the brother I never had. Oh that he was still alive so I could tell him so. I cherish the time we spent together, and am so sad that it will be only memories from now on. In his way, Ron was a gentle warrior emanating true life spirit. Deep and funny. He played many beautiful and soulful notes in the song of his life. May the sea and sage soothe your soul in heaven. Be at peace my friend. Thanks Mary Jo for caring about our friend.
