eye on style: aaron johles
Friday, October 7, 2011
p.s. this is also the first time in over 60 Eye on Style interview that I actually had a local guest that I could shoot myself!

name: Aaron Johles
location: McMillan Canale Salon in Malibu

occupation: Hairstylist, creator of Ibiza hair brushes.
wearing: Hurley V neck , 501 straight fit jeans, Gourmet shoes, Bulova watch.
favorite designers: My favorite designers are Stella McCartney, Lanvin, I love whatever Marc does and Muccia can do no wrong with whatever she does. I also love shopping at Zara, It's as if you're in Barcelona and I have never purchased anything there I regretted. There are so many designers with great taste these days because they know how to interpret the past into the now.
what style means to aaron: Without style there is sense of mediocrity and a lack of creativity. Being comfortable in one's body is paramount to anything looking stylish. You can't have one with out the other.

OOoo that is an awesome interview! So he is the stylist with a salon next to Tylie Malibu??? I SO want to move to Cali :)
I love this. Wish I had your job!
I couldn't agree more with his words about style, so true! He said it all :)
I always believe that a women hair represent 50% of her beauty. Finding a hair stylist that you are comfortable with is a treasure.
I DO BELIEVE FEELING GOOD IN YOUR BODY IS THE KEY.. I ALSO, THINK THAT WE HAVE THE ABILITY AS WE GROWN OLDER, TO SINK INTO OURSELVES IN A WAY, WHERE, WE TRULY DO NOT NEED MUCH ADORNMENT, TO LOOK TRULY AUTHENTIC AND SETTLED..
LOVE THOSE HAIR BRUSHES...

SHE IS BRINGING UP A TOPIC IN HER ART WORK THAT IS OF GREAT IMPORTANCE IN THE FASHION BUSINESS TODAY.. IF YOU LOOK AT THE RUNWAY MODELS TODAY AND COMPARE THEM TO THE 80'S MODELS. THEY LOOK LIKE THEY ARE SICK AND ABOUT READY TO KILL THEM SELVES.. THEIR EXPRESSIONS ARE OF SORROW AND IT TAKES AWAY FROM THE BEAUTY OF THE CLOTHS.. I REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHY DESIGNERS HAVE NOT CAUGHT ON TO THIS FACT...
ALL OVER THE WORLD THE NEED TO LOOK WHITE SKINNED IS THE NORM... SO, HAPPY THAT MARY JO IS SHOWING ON HER BLOG MANY TYPES OF WOMEN IN THE BLOGGING AND DESIGNING WORLD...
I AM SICK OF THE LACK OF DEEPTH THAT MOST FASHION BLOGS HAVE...
THANK YOU MARY FOR HAVING THE COURAGE TO SHOW THE BEAUTY THAT ALL AND NOT JUST THIS BRAINWASHED VIEW OF WOMEN AND FASHION..
