eye on style: marie from the curvy fashionista

Today's Eye on Style guest is Marie, whose blog The Curvy Fashionista caters to the curvy confident and chic plus size woman. I met Marie at a fashion blogger party a couple of summers ago, and her happy personality and love of fashion really stood out to me--I'm so glad that she could stop by today!

location: Rialto, CA, about an hour east of LA.
occupation: I am a full time blogger. I also do consulting.
wearing: Gypsy 05 maxi skirt and an oversized cropped sweater in black! with Chinese Laundry booties!
favorite designers: Ooohhh... Quite a few! I love Donna Karan and DKNY for its clean city chic appeal. Norma Kamali for her innovative and whimsical looks! In plus sizes, I love Monif C for her playful and on trend appeal, Jibri for her structure and shape paired with attitude. Lafayette 148 for its luxe appeal and ease of sophistication. I love international designers, Anna Scholz, Elena Miro, for the innovation and incorporation of color and pattern play! I could so go on! lol.....
what style means to marie: finding your own distinct voice and translating it to what and how you wear it! For me, I am more laid back, a stickler for great fabrics, and I have an insane love for teal blue and natural hues. Black is definitely one of my go to shades. For me, I am more boho...
