eye on style: claire at fashion and frank

In keeping with this week's theme of a girl and her dog, this week's Eye on Style guest is Claire at Fashion and Frank {Frank is her dog}. There is simply no fashion blogger whose wardrobe I covet more than Claire's. Her daily outfit photos are a visual romp of fabulous designer wear. Best of all, she has fun with her fashion, and that's what it's all about! And don't you love her backdrops--nice house castle, right?

wearing: Lanvin dress Resort 2009 , YSL Trib Heels
favorite designers: I have no standout brand loyalty so it varies according to the season but there are those that always deliver – Alber Elbaz at Lanvin, Nicolas Ghesquiere at Balenciaga, the young brits - Erdem and Kane particularly and then I really am a bit partial to Muiccia and I definitely had a Dolce moment this summer.
what style means to claire: I want to write something intelligent, urbane and sophisticated, but I just come back to I looooove streetstyle … I mean I really love streetstyle, from the girls to the boys and back again. The Battaglias, the Dumas, the Perminovas, the Zara girls, the trendy teens, the Parisian Maman, the modern day Hepburns, the sex kitten Bardots, the high maintenance, the low maintenance, the young, the old …if you are happy, comfortable in your skin and loving your fashion life I am soo inspired x

It's not at all a surprise finding Claire here. She has the most amazing wardrobe, she is such a lovely lady and definetly knows how to have fun with fashion. And this dress is simply gorgeous! Love the setting too. :)

That castle is a great backdrop, and I also like the playfulness of her posing. What could be better than frolicking on the grounds of an awesome castle wearing a designer gown?
