Eye on Style: Christopher Rico

Today's Eye on Style guest is Christopher Rico, a good blog friend and wonderful painter. I've always enjoyed Christopher's style both in life and in fashion. I think you will enjoy meeting him!

DSC_0002

name: Christopher Rico

occupation: artist, painter

location: South Carolina

wearing: a mix of jcrew, Billy Reid, Sid Mashburn, vintage blazer and Ferragamo shoes.

favorite designers: R. Lauren, Thom Browne, Tom Ford, and a penchant for English tailoring and Italian shoes.

what style means to christopher: Being oneself, always. Being appropriate (or interestingly not so) for the occasion and company. Looking effortless with flair. Finding what works for your own body and personality and making the fashion of the moment work with that instead of the other way around.

I totally agree with his definition of style. I have always thought that it is much easier for men than for women to look effortless with flair. Have a great weekend, Mary Jo!
