Trust Your Style was thrilled when Marie Claire fashion director and Project Runway judge Nina Garcia dropped by recently to discuss fashion, style, satorial spying and more {Click here to read Nina's interview}. As thoughts turn to fall, I couldn't think of a better time to offer a lucky tys reader a copy of Nina's new book!
Not only is this book a visual pleasure, filled with pages upon pages of Ruben Toledo illustrations, but it has all sorts of great style advice--everything from how to dress when asking for a raise to the eternal style questions such as what to wear to a black tie wedding. I'd love to read this book. I'm constantly trying to educate myself on style, to further understand my subconscious High WASP leanings, and broaden my tastes. I'd also like to review the book on Privilege. It's just the kind of thing the Privilege[d] would like:). Thanks Mary Jo for hosting.

Okay, so this Giveaway seriously just made my day! There are numerous reasons why I want to read this book:
1) The illustrations are the cutest thing ever!
2) Nina Garcia is a goddess, and anything with her name on it is perfection!
3) A survival guide for the fashion world is something that no girl should be forced to live without!! :P

Great giveaway, Mary Jo! Nina is so knowledgeable about style...I can benefit from her advice! I would love to read this because, while I'm happy with my day-to-day style, I am awful when it comes to dressing up more formally. Plain awful. I can use a little direction with this!

many reasons why i love the book, one is that i love ruben toledo and two because i can respect fashion advice from someone who is actually fashionable like her... week after week she shows us her great style and how much she knows about it... have a fantastic weekend and hope i get the book! ha!

I LOVE Nina Garcia's books. Super excited to read this one. Our library has one copy of each of her previous books. There is ALWAYS a long waiting list for her books - and I put my name on the list every time. I sign out the book...and even keep it and pay the overdue fines [to keep the books for an extra few days] ...then return it ...and put my name on the waiting list again.
Can't get enough Nina Garcia.
