Yesterday I received a copy of the new Blythe Manga Girls Inspiration photo book from CWC in Tokyo. It's such a cool book! I always love seeing what all the designers did with their Blythe, and this time it was as wildly fabulous as ever.
My punk princess was part of the Blythe 9th Anniversary Event at Omotesando Hills, Japan. Next month all the dolls will be exhibited again at Venus Fort in Odaiba and will continue to be shown for the next 9 months.
Part of the book is devoted to the Blythe dolls from last year's 2009 Fashion Obsession and I loved the full page editorial of my luxe Gallery Girl. Like a true diva, this Blythe put me through a few hoops. I made a miniature version of a couture dress in my collection and my French pattern maker lost my Blythe in the process. You would never know from looking at her that she showed up just in time to catch her plane to Tokyo...But as the saying goes, all's well that ends well!
