it's monday: come on in!

Good morning! Hoping you had a great weekend. Mine was pretty relaxing (except for the part where I decided to rearrange the furniture). On Sunday I filled the house with bouquets of rosemary, lavender and roses, and it smells wonderful. If you were here, I'd invite you in for a steaming cup of coffee and a nice pastry. Pastry is one of my big weaknesses! I know, I know, pastry is the devil and your trainer is not going to recommend it. But I firmly believe life is too short to do without a good pastry once in awhile. And since we're on the subject of decadent delight, I have to warn you, this week I plan to spoil you, so keep reading...
To start, I'm announcing the winner of last week's Caswell-Massey soap and candle giveaway: it's Christina of Soul Aperture. How can you resist a girl who likes pink? I'd stumbled across Christina's blog long ago, and somehow never found my way back. Luckily I found it again and can't explain how much I'm loving her daily yummy (there's no other word) soulful thoughts. Check it out if you have a moment.
So here's the scoop: I have some new projects going on (I can't wait to tell you about them soon!) and since I'm going to be busier than usual this week and unable to put together any sort of gift-giving roundups, I thought I'd just start handing out gifts instead--yay! While I'm busy working, there's going to be a give-away for a lucky TrustYourStyle reader every day this week! I'll give you a hint, today's give-away is pastry related--without the calories.
Oh, and in case you haven't heard, I'm on twitter now, so please follow me and I'll follow you! There's also a facebook feed now (see top right-hand corner) to make it easier for those of you who want to follow trustyourstyle through networked blogs. I know most of you are following via google reader. One of these days soon I'll surprise you with an easy button for that too.
Stay tuned for today's give-away, coming right up!

Mmm...rosemary lavender and roses sounds absolutely divine! i haven't put up ANY decorations yet this year because the kittens will devour them in about two seconds, but maybe some gorgeous (non-toxic!) floral arrangements should be in my future!
and if/when I make a decision about a headboard, you'll be the first to know, MJ!
hope you had a great weekend :)
Oh don't remind me. I have to move the furniture around the cottage to make way for the Christmas Tree :(
Oh yay!!! I'm doing the happy dance!!! Me? Oh this is the sweetest news. Thank you, dear one.
I can't wait to hear more, about the projects you are working on.
