wardrobe staple extraordinaire + give-away!

Last week's Closet Confidential Giveaway got me to thinking about good wardrobe staples. People are always surprised that my wardrobe is so minimalist, but what I've found is that having an ever-changing group of well-made basics makes life simpler. That said, there are certain basics that you can never have enough of. I tend to have a lot of versions of the black tee. Ruched, baggy, draped, thin, tight, long sleeved, short sleeved, etc. Why? Because it will never fail you: it goes with jeans and skirts, can be dressy or casual. It can be professional...or not. Which led me to think about how a good camisole is also a great wardrobe staple. Why? Because...you can wear them under thin (read see-through) blouses, low-cut shirts, or with yoga gear to look hot but not trashy.

Have you heard about SNUG Camisoles yet? They come in 50(!) different colors and make the perfect little holiday gift because there's no need to stress about what size to order with the one-size-fits-all shape. They don't ride up or stretch out plus they're comfortable and sweat-proof! Best of all, SNUG fabric is designed to enhance a woman's shape, smooth unwanted bulges and eliminate lines from undergarments.

Do you really think I'd get your heart rate up without delivering? To enter the TrustYourStyle SNUG Camisole Give-Away, leave me a comment about why you'd like to win one of these camis and what color your heart desires.

If you just can't wait, SNUG Camisoles are now available in department stores nationwide, retailing for $36.

I love camis, but I can rarely find ones that feel comfortable and are flattering at the same time. Most of the time they either ride up on me, or are too loose to fit under my shirt properly. As for colors...black or green would be my first choices. I'd probably debate with myself over those two for a while.

The last time I wore one of those, I looked like a knish.

I'm actually going to look for one today. That looks like the most perfect camisole I've ever seen.

'I die' for a good cami. I have a gazzilion camis, but they all seem to fade and lose their shape after a few washes; however, I can tell by the looks of these SNUGs that they won't lose their quality anytime soon. I can wear them with everything under the sun, so will pretty much wear them on the daily.

Thanks for the chance to win and if I had to pick a favorite, I love the nude color in the first photograph.

Ooh beautiful! I love the longer camis because you can bunch them up to wherever you like. I'd probably stick with basic black though. Cheers!

I would love to try one out. I have alot of camis but have a hard time finding the "perfect nude cami" and don't have any with a scoop neck. judging from the photos- the neck looks amazing- almost ballet like!! which i adore! reminds me of when I was a little girl :) those skinny delicate straps. sigh

I'm a tall girl with a very long waist and can never seem to find cami's that are long enough! I'm also plus sized and am willing to be the guinea pig on the one size fits all shape. I promise to report back!

I think the Royal Blue would be a fantastic shot of color under my favorite grey cardigan.

To be completely honest, I've never worn a cami. Just didn't see the need for one. But I can see that this is more than just a simple cami. I guess these are so versatile. They would go perfectly under my silk knit sweater which has sort of big eyelet pattern to it.
I just have to wear something under that sweater, a bra is too little and a T-shirt is too much, but a cami would be just perfect-o.
My fave color would be a gray. It goes with everything and it's so autumnal!

What fabulous colors! I'm not sure which I'd pick, but I think I'd lean towards the eggplant.

I love camis! I am in desperate need of a new one, too -- a white one in particular, to go under my crisp white blouses. Lovely giveaway :)
