summer's last breath

This is the official last weekend of summer, but it's been so hot that fall still seems ages away. I've been struggling with a respiratory issue most of the summer that wasn't so bad that I couldn't work, but kept me from doing much else. It seriously worsened the last week with the California fires, so I've been unable to do much besides seeing my doctor and laying on my couch hoping that the meds kick in. Just to let you know why I've been absent from many of your blogs lately. I haven't forgotten you and hope to be back by soon!
In the meantime, I've been reading Marshmallows: Gourmet Home Treats, and whipped up these pink marshmallows to share with you. They are light, fluffy and truly heavenly.

i hope you are breathing better soon. I too suffer from respiratory problems. I finally found a doctor that helps me manage my asthma... such a relief.
