back from sf

Hoping all of you had a great Fourth of July. It was straight back to work for me and I found myself counting the hours today with thoughts like "at this time yesterday I was having an amazing massage." Mondays can be hard.

I plan to write more about my stay at Cavallo Point, but for now I'll just say it was a wonderful getaway.

Right after we flew in, I met up with Meli of Bikes In the City (and former Eye on Style guest. We both had to laugh because neither of us expected the other to be so tall. (I think we're both the same height). Meeting up at last with my favorite bloggers is truly one of the great things about being part of the blog community! After a nice bite at the Ferry Building, we parted ways and I went on with my friend Danny to catch the Georgia O'Keefe and Ansel Adams show at the SF Museum of Modern Art before heading over the Golden Gate Bridge for a few relaxing days at Cavallo Point.

...tbc (I'm so tired I really have to sign off. More soon, I promise!)

How fun! It strikes me that I must have found your blog through Meligrosa's, as I've been reading hers and other "cycle chic" sites for some time now. I harbor the secret hope that someday the bicycle will become a larger part of our transportation infrastructure ... even in Los Angeles, where the car remains supreme.

That's what blogging is all about! Networking... And not just virtually.
It must me great to actually meet the person behind the posts and pics.
