this is my 900th post (!)

Phew. Hard to believe. So here are two of my favorite mediums: fashion + film combined to celebrate the day.

I've been meaning to track down this Halston video for days and Courtney from In(side) the Loop saved me the trouble--thanks Courtney! I'm a big Halston fan, who was a big fan of the late 30s. And if you ever get a peek of my new collection--I'm working on those photos right now--you'll see what I mean.

Thanks Courtney, Tina, Jon, Cece, Carla! Hard to believe when I think back to the beginning, wondering if I could keep it up for even a week.

wow you look good for 900 posts. not a day over 30 I'd say. oh, halson, I went to his shows as I had a friend who worked for him, I went in the back to see the amazing dress he made for Liza, which was a knock-out. Birds were released and flew about the models. The colors were amazing. I had the pleasure of meeting him too.

Halston was amazing--that is so wonderful that you had the chance to be at his shows and meet him! Now that I've actually deconstructing his pieces, I have so much admiration for how he made them look so deceptively simple.
