and now back to color

A few weeks ago, I made a somewhat coherent case for color in my post over at coco + kelly and right here and here at tys. Of course a lot of it was about gray, so it's arguable how colorful I really was. Then, like a schitzo mod/goth/vampire I went deeply madly, profoundly into black.
From the forthcoming Hello Kitty line for Mac:

Picture a fledgling witch pouring a teaspoon of black into the mix, dabbing a finger into the batter, liking what she tasted and thinking hmmm, not so bad...Next thing, she's dumping the entire cauldron of deep, inky, gauzy, velvety, silky and spangled black into the mix.
And now I'm back. I do love color. But we all have our black moments. Here is a dose of the light and glorious shades that I'm really loving (at least today):
Dreamy candy pastels on Devon. Photo by Paolo Roversi.

Light and airy.

Christian Lacroix's living room. Sigh.

What can I say? I cannot escape the gray.

All candy and bon bons at Fendi.

Spring fantastic fantasy.
