Here is what Rachel had to say about style:
My favorite designers are Anna Sui since I was 10. My mother introduced me to her designs. I just love how creative she is and I love hearing about what inspires her. I am really liking Diane Von Furstenberg's designs lately because they have a very mature look to them but still young and fresh looking. I am 25 but people say I look 17. I really don't like being told that because I run my own business and I am wanting to be taken more seriously so her clothing is very inspirational. I am hoping to see more designs from Leanne from Project Runway. I really love her inspirations and how she executes them. Her final collection was gorgeous and I love her unique style.
I live on Maui so fashion here is not anything like the mainland. When I attend meetings with clients I always feel overdressed when I am actually dressed very casually. My wardrobe mainly consists of knee length skirts and tank tops because it is so warm but it is still professional enough looking. I really like purchasing solid apparel because it can go with more things and it has more of a timeless appeal. I like to buy little tops and bags in prints and wear them more occasionally. Comfort is huge for me because I am usually home all day working on my computer so I love just slipping on a comfy dress. I cannot have enough of them. I like designs simple and clean but with character and I think it comes off in my fashion style, my interiors and in my graphic design.
