jim dine: poet singing (the flowering sheets)

This past week I was invited to a private reception at the beautiful Getty Villa for Jim Dine's new installation: Poet Singing (The Flowering Sheets).
I loved the show and highly recommend watching the ten minute documentary about Jim Dine's creative process during the making of this installation.
Jim Dine has been one of my favorite artists since my college days when lots of my artsy friends in Berkeley had prints of his red robe plastered on their dorm room walls.
It was great to hear him talk and get to meet him in person. Although brief, it meant a lot to me.
