Meet Dimitra Doufekas, co-owner of Up To You, a concept store in Toronto.

"For me style, similar to good design, is all around us and the trick is carefully editing and choosing pieces that make you feel wonderful. The task of creating your own style is far from easy especially when we are bombarded with fads and images we should aspire to. I have never thought of myself as having a particular style, since I like variety from Junk Food t-shirts to Burberry skirts, but if there is one constant I would say my look is typified by a casual feel. I am definitely a jeans girls, and to create a stand out look I like to add a Dolce and Gabbana graphic tee and bracelets from Neko Mexico to add that extra laid back and fun look. Style is about going with your gut, when you are choosing pieces you just know when you step out of the change room if it is going to work for you, if you have to keep thinking about it, move on, another better piece awaits you."
Dimitra's favorite brands are Junk Food, Club Monaco, Burberry, Super Fine Jeans, Belstaff, Minnetonka Boots, Rogan for Target and Stella Mccartney. If she had to pick a look to wear forever she told me it would be Minnetonka boots, a Belstaff aviator jacket and her Superfine skinny jeans.
