la flash: street style then and now

My friend Shannon and I decided to go and check out the 3,500 Angelenos who showed up at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art to have their street style photographed by WireImage photographers. It was a super fun party in celebration of the 1973 project LA Flash, a 400 slide document of 1973 Los Angeles fashion culture and subculture curated by Mary Hunt Kahlenberg.

As you can see, it was an anything goes affair and a great people-watching event!

Thanks Patricia! I wear the dress everywhere, so I'm sure my friends will be happy when I retire it as it starts to get colder :-)
