sling it, don't bring it

I have long admired Lisbon-based designer, Rosa Pomar, and her flower-eyed dolls. While I don't normally cover baby stuff, a friend and I were in Starbucks the other day waiting behind the most ginormous double-wide baby stroller. Winnebagos have nothing on this thing that looked just days away from clogging up the nearest landfill. It was blocking up the whole place, groaning under the weight of all kinds of crazy bulk that had nothing to do with the babies. Finally it departed, but it took two moms (each had a baby in this contraption) to wield it out the door. My friend turned to me and said, "If I ever have a baby I'm going to wear a sling and that's it."
