This morning I took a 6 am meadow hike. The weather's supposed to be 90 degrees this week, but it was a little chilly and perfect for hiking.

Breakfast just arrived in my room along with the LAT, the NYT and my schedule printed on a card in the shape of a Japanese fan. During my initial interview yesterday, I loosely planned my week's activities--hiking, yoga, meditation, and two daily spa treatments. Plus it's the week of The Art of Creative Play, so there are related classes designed to stimulate creativity. For those intent on getting in shape, there are all kinds of cardio/core, circuit, swimming and power cycling classes. But I am here to decompress, so I'm really hoping to spend some time between classes at the pool catching up on reading.
