It's Friday again (!) and today's style question has to do with making that splashy holiday purchase that we all do at some time or another. New Year's is fast approaching and you want something fun, something sexy, something extravagant...and yet, the thought of that poor garment hanging around in your closet after one night gives you pause. You won't be able to wear it next New Year's (as if you can even think that far ahead!) because you already wore it this year. And of course as spring rolls around, the thought of pulling out your New Year's best doesn't seem too appealing.


Nothing like Miu Miu's gauzy harlequin top to add a bit of sparkle!

Good news! The Harlequin influence is big for Spring '08 and looks just dandy for a decadent New Year's eve romp. (Just be sure and wear a warm coat!)

Pale is the new pretty and I just love this look especially when it's chilly. It's got that winter fairy vibe and isn't so tight and short that you'll feel uncomfortable, unless that's the look that makes you feel comfortable. Hey, this is trust your style, it's all about being you!
