Kimberly Sayer of KIMBERLY SAYER OF LONDON


I'm really thrilled that organic esthetician and chemist Kimberly Sayer has stopped by today for a little interview with tys. Those of you who use organic beauty products are no doubt acquainted with her wonderful line, Kimberly Sayer of London. After training with renowned UK aromatherapist Michael Winter, and attending The Neals Yard Beauty Therapy College in London, Kimberly integrated her aromatherapy studies along with physics, chemistry and biology to master the science of skin care using only organic ingredients.

Some of you may not know that in addition to her skincare line, Kimberly created her own menu of Apothecary Face and Body Treatments and often visits private clients in their homes. Kimberly has practiced organic aesthetics in New York and London for more than ten years and has an impressive following of celebrities, not to mention Kimberly Sayer has also been endorsed by major modeling agencies Ford, Wilhelmina, I.M.G., and The Z Agency (London) who regularly send her their models for treatments.

mj: Do you think you can be "green" and still have great style?

kimberly: Absolutely there are so many cool fashion designers who create only green clothing, such as Under the Canopy, Steward Brown, Edun, Linda Loudermilk and DKNY Pure that's made from pure Organic Cotton.

mj: How did you first get involved with conscious manufacturing?

kimberly: Well my parents were organic farmers, so my entire upbringing was organic. When I decided to launch my brand, it was just natural for me to manufacture pure, organic products with only organically grown ingredients. This is why all my products are manufactured in the state of California.

mj: Why do you think it's important?

kimberly: The immune system/liver is bombarded daily with toxic chemicals in the enviroment, foods, water etc...To add chemicals into products would further stress and create harmful responses in the body that can lead to life threatening diseases.

mj: Do you consider yourself to be a green consumer?

kimberly: My house and office are 100% green and I try to follow the same socially and when traveling as much as humanly possible.

mj: Even better, could you tell me what skin care products you use during a typical day?


Gentle Face Cleanser + Lavender Toner


kimberly: I start the day with my KIMBERLY SAYER OF LONDON Gentle Face Cleanser, Organic Lavender Toner, Anti-Oxidant Daily Moisturizeer-SPF25 and Cellular Extract Eyelift Gel.


Almond and Lavender Scrub


Twice a week I use my Gentle Almond & Lavender Face Scrub. Every evening, I have the same product ritual but I switch my moisturizer to KIMBERLY SAYER OF LONDON Restore Anti-Aging Cream. I brush my teeth with Toms of Maine Toothpaste and my Make-up is Eco Bella and Dr Hauschka. My household cleaning products are all 7th Generation.
