At the risk of too much information, today is the day that I've decided to share one of my deep dark secrets: I am a complete and total Bedhead fan. It's after 3pm and I'm wearing Bedhead black & white pique paisley pajamas. When I'm not wearing Bedhead's Zebra pjs, I can be found in Spray Blossom or Asian.

In my spare time, I find myself still coveting Lily of the Valley, Rose, and Ming Dynasty...sigh! I admit, I have a serious hard-core pajama problem. Not that I get to indulge every day, but when it's hailing and thundering, as it is here in my part of Los Angeles, it seems to be the perfect excuse to wear pjs. So I feel very lucky to share with you today an interview with Bedhead CEO and designer Renee Claire.

mj: How would you describe your own style?

renee: My own personal style I would describe as funky, edgy with a subtle elegance.

mj: How did you get into designing your own line of pajams?

renee: Prior to designing pajamas I had a dress line for nine years. While shopping for pjs for a trip with friends I realized that there was a position in the market for fine pjs. It was a eureka moment, because I was looking to design something that was print driven, which is my specialty. I started with eight prints and a very tight collection and it has blossomed from there.

mj: Do you have new projects that you're working on?

renee: I am working on creating a very groovy retail store that is fashion and news worthy.

mj: What would your ideal project be?

renee: I believe I am currently working on it!
