GENTLE FAWN

One of my favorite picks for fall: Brass jacket by Gentle Fawn

Recently I mentioned a great streetwear line called Gentle Fawn. I had seen some of their fall collection at Skyla in Westwood and thought I would feature them this week for all of you who might not be familiar with this three year old line out of Vancouver.

It's not a stretch that a line started by vintage furniture and fawn figurine collectors, whose inspiration is a mix of nature and the city, is going to be something I like... In case you're wondering, you can find Gentle Fawn online at karmaloop.com and 80s Purple. You can also use the Store Locator on their website for a store close to you.

Danny Hogg, one of the owners of Gentle Fawn, told me that they're always working on new designs and currently they are deep into the designs for Fall 2007, and if you can believe it, starting to think about spring 2008. His favorite Gentle Fawn collection is the upcoming spring 07 season. While they currently do shows in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, London, and Canada, Danny would say that Barcelona was his favorite city to show their line, "It was a blast, a truly great city."

HERE ARE A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT DANNY HOGG:
